Lol ok. We had starters out both games. No excuses tho y’all won, I hope that jump starts y’all season. Y’all are long & young! Good luck the rest of tha way. I hope we see y’all again

He aid they learn to take in what is being told to them. Next year we will lose a lot but we still will be in the mix.

Haywood is 4-8. They all play football now

West TN basketball as a whole is pretty bad this year. There’s no great teams, no even mid major D1 talents. It’s down.

How does South Sides team this year compare to last years team?  Trying to get a feel for the West and what will likely be an opponent for Greeneville coming out of the East.

Greeneville has knocked off the #17 team in the Nation last week in Dr. Phillips who has 3 d1 commits to Kansas, Florida, and Mississippi State (7a State Champs Last year in Florida), The 2a State Champs last year in Union out of Virginia, and Amarillo, TX who was a 5a Semi-Final last year and has a Villanova Signee and also a Southern Illinois Signee who was 7ft tall

We are struggling! Greenville should run away with it this year.

All sports in West Tennessee are bad. There's not a "clean cut" favorite in the state in any sport. Baseball and softball teams are down significantly. I like South Side, but somebody has to go to Murfreesboro.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
