Agree. The game plan was tremendous and Gleason wasn’t going to let Greenfield get many open looks from their 2 main shooters from outside.  I believe I only remember one “3”in the 2nd half by Greenfield,  but might be wrong on that. Anderson is definitely a player.

Gleason was the more aggressive team tonight. Greenfield didn’t have the players making shots that they had last week. Anderson was great tonight. The FT shooting down the stretch was good too. Dresden is going to have hands full and their not even a top team, wonder how they’ve got this far?

I agree with both post here. This is a case where the best two teams are not making it out of Region. Dresden is a pretty good team, but the best two teams in the Region played tonight. No disrespect to Dresden because West is a great coach. He pulled the upset over Gleason in the District and shook things up.

Agreed. Dresden will be ready against Gleason. Curry one of the most underrated players in the area. Dresden has to be a favorite in the region in the years to come. 0 seniors

Dresden has a good team and they play hard, especially on defense. Their biggest weakness to me is that Curry(?) is the only ball handler on that team and she is very good….but when she has to keep the ball in her left hand and not allowed to go right…she’s not as strong. I’d be surprised if Gleason lets her go to the right much in the championship and wouldn’t be surprised to see someone on her full court defensively.

I didn’t see any posts about last night’s game, but WV’s opponent went with the stall technique. Nothing exciting to report. We played man for about a quarter to generate points off of defense. One of our younger girls hit 3-4 threes in the 2nd half to blow it open. Good luck to GC this week and let’s take care of business and get to a Part 4.

Nothing exciting to report between Gibson/Camden. It went about as expected. I think we will beat East Hickman in similar fashion.

Correct. And if they jump on you early they can take the air out of the ball

….and evidently Gleason’s coach has them pretty disciplined too with their emotions too. From my angle, that was a very violent intentional foul against the Gleason girl & that could turned into a lot more in the 4th. Props to the cooler heads at that juncture.

Awesome basketball atmosphere! Congratulations to Gleason on a big win, Gleason had a good game plan and hit some big shots.  Anderson showed why she’s a Miss Basketball candidate. Proud of our Lady Jackets, another great season.

I’m picking Gleason to win the Gold Ball, they can beat Mckenzie.

I agree. Greenfield had a good year. Greenfield was still close even after Gleason hit big three after big three. It was Gleason’s night. Shot lights out in a hostile environment.

I don’t see Gleason beating McKenzie.  They are a step above everyone in this region.  Anything can happen on a given night but it would be a large upset.  Imo.

    • Perhaps it is within the realm of possibility that the comprehension of my discourse, both by yourself and others, may be circumscribed by the boundaries of intellectual acumen. Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
    • They’re building something special there. They have 4 Varsity games scheduled & 5 JV. They are trying for a 5th Varsity game. Beat them now because they will be good in the future. They are building a football field there I think but the rich pricks of Farragut won’t let them get lights so they are possibly looking at property to build a stadium & field with lights
    • The gustatory amalgamation of succulent pork chops juxtaposed with verdant greens indeed evokes a sensory delight. Clint's narrative, imbued with the ethos of resilience, navigated the tumultuous waters of the 1980s with commendable fortitude. As for the prospective successor to the coaching helm, the mention of esteemed mentor Nick Saban's absence prompts a discerning hesitation towards alternative candidates, for excellence is the sole criterion deemed worthy of emulation.  Pray, may I inquire as to your esteemed identity? Are you perchance a luminary within the domain of coaching, endowed with unparalleled wisdom and insight?
