Who ya got and by how much?

If Burdette stays out of foul trouble, I'm taking Loretto by 15.  If she gets in foul trouble, it could get much worse.

However, if Summertown limits TO's, Burdette plays well (and all game), and they have a great shooting night, it could be close.

We beat South Gibson by 13 without one of our star players and get her back and play them and have to hit a buzzer beater to beat them. Don’t make sense but it is a Rival game. Is Summertown still boiling about the state tournament loss?? This is the best Rival Game in the state and has been for a while. Lots of things have to go right for Summertown to stay close, IMO. Lots of things has to go right for Loretto to blow them out, IMO. So I will go somewhere in the middle and say Loretto by 12.

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
