Milan vs York Class AA State Qtr Final

Admittedly I know nothing about York but several of the posters on here have indicated that they are a very good team. Milan is on a roll having won 16 straight ball games. Can they keep it going??

Amazing story with what the Milan team has accomplished. From winning 6 games last year to 23 and counting this year. Defense rules with this team, only giving up average of 44 points per game all year, and held Fairview to 37.

Defense and rebounding has been a big key to Milan’s success this year. I believe there are only 3-4 teams in the entire state (regardless of classification) that are giving up fewer points per game. The kids hustle and get after it.

Yes they are solid. They have 2 really good players and the others are solid. They may have trouble with milans speed though.

Yes I have watched them on UC reporter, they have both an inside and outside game and sneaky good athleticism. Their star post player had the best dunk I have seen in HS play since Corey Brewer. You can watch the Pearl Cohn game here

Both York teams were my early state championship contenders after watching them last year and that they would be staying in AA. If they would have split up the classifications last they probably would have won it all

It is about 2 minutes into the game a little give and go alley oop. On second viewing it wasn’t as impressive as when it was live. Still a great play/dunk though
