Would be tough. Hampton is solid all the way around. Buckles is a heck of a player and has a good supporting cast. Hampton is without a doubt had the best season in ETN 1A.  But in tournaments you never know. Think UH is a year away from reaching potential but good Junior and Sophomore group.

TERRIBLE officiating multiple techs called and they weren’t too deserving. Elijah Groves barely making it up the court but JB played a good game and a well deserved win.

If the basketball coach was like our football coach, it would've ended like the quarterfinals! Thank God we have a great basketball coach! I see another deep run coming in basketball!

Are you serious? Brooks did a phenomenal job this year and the rest of his crew did phenomenal why are you putting him down and why are you bringing up football in a basketball forum?

egrad is a very jealous person! I know a football coach and tried to set up a meeting to explain how egrad would win the quarter finals, but he ran with his head tucked between his legs. He has mental health issues and is the only person In Crossplains complaint about football.

Hampton is due for a loss to University High. Hampton is a well coached team, and every one of those young men play off each other. The bulldogs are the definition of playing the game the right way. However, University High has had the Bulldog's number in recent matchups which would make for a great title game.  My nephew and I watched theme play a few weeks ago at Brooks gym and I thought Hampton had them beat.

Which will be Gordy more than likely, they play an RBS team at 6 that’s won 5 games all year, I don’t see Bibb throwing it. If/when they do play ER That will be a battle Gordy has had a solid year with lots of size, if E Groves isn’t 100% they will be on upset alert because they will make everyone but him beat them. I believe Gordy is overall more talented than PIckett so tough draw for ER.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
