Its simple and clear. Toppers have a better O line. That’s that. Can’t stop the run. Betsy hangin’ tuff but can’t put enough plays together to keep a scoring drive.

Looks like Elizabethton is going to open the season at 0-3, when was the last time that happened??*      Just kidding, 0-2 and then you guys will get back on the winning track in your 3rd game on the way to a 7-3 finish.

Betsy had less than 100 yards on the ground. Only two first downs in a half and only had four passes that crossed the line of scrimmage. One for a TD. One incomplete out of bounds, which was caught. One double pass that was incomplete and one where the wide out ran the wrong route.  Two INT’s didn’t help. This Cyclone teams has a lot of growing to do. When you have just 7 key players, one goes out, it becomes a very long game.

No excuses but it was more than 1 going out.  Missing key defensive starter at DE. Starting safety goes out with apparent ankle injury and Cade having attempted  voluntary manslaughter against him didn’t help.  Learn from it and move on.

Elizabethton went Viral back last December. Cause they couldn't pass the ball. That pick is on the TSSAA websites front page.
