Not for Rankin. Tyler "T Rob" Robinson was a great TE and NEVER got the ball thrown to him under Rankin. Went on to Kentucky as a starting TE in the SEC. Wasted his talents at Alcoa...........sigh.

Congrats to Alcoa on the win and a successful start to the Nix era of Alcoa football. You guys look great and will only get better as the season progresses. Talked to some Alcoa fans and they were super classy and very excited about Nix and the direction of Alcoa football. Eli Owens is a stud and I hope we see him running thru the T in a couple of years. 

Proud of these young Eagles for not quitting when this game got out of hand pretty quickly. Got to fix some big time special teams issues but the backs ran hard and the young O-line and defense will get better with experience. Got next week off and hopefully Hyatt is OK and they can get him, Davis and Odell back on the field soon. Pemberton has always been pretty good at taking a game like this and making good adjustments. 
On to Athens in 2 weeks to play McMinn for a big Region 4 showdown.

We were hoping the Blue Angels was going land on Hwy 27 and drop off Booger to deliver the game ball. Us Tin heads thought Booger was our friend.....guess he was too busy taking lipstick pictures with Rankin and his big win.:blink:
