I'll be surprised if its a competitive game, looks like Greenback has fell on hard times, Hate it for O&B, the man has a passion for his Kee,s and just good football in general.

He knows what the issues truly are. He’s just a great guy and staying polite. . . For now. He’ll only put up with so much though.

Biggest issue is they are far more talented than it appears. It IS NOT a player problem at Greenback.

After talkin to you last night I agree. They have ALWAYS had talent as far as I can remember. My 1st GB game was when they had Bunky and he was talented and would let you know he was.

It's hard not love something that you yourself was a part of for 5 years, got the privilege to coach in the youth and have all three of your boys be apart of.I hate to see us get used to losing

KING you are second to none.lol

You can throw records or coaches or any of that stuff out the window when these 2 teams meet. Neither like each other and that usually makes for a good ball game. Do I expect Oneida to win? Sure I do but I know the GB team that got obliterated last week will not be the same team that Oneida sees this week.

Nope same scenario as last year and that was a ballgame until late in the 4th.

I been on but I work alone more than I used too. Our game was a great one. We are young this year but don't have any quit in us. Its good to talk to you Spike home things are well at the casa. Heard you had a great game too. Playing them close like you did probably says alot about your team. Congrats.

Everything is good up this way. Just glad it’s football season. We did play pretty Good Friday night. Just have some things to clean up and open field tacklin bein the main one. We hope to learn from it and get better as a team. Good luck the rest of the way and we may see each other in November when y’all have to make that trip up to the Reservation! :popcorneater:

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
