Y'all never can just give a team credit, get the stats for both games and see how different they were, it's not like your offense blew it up the 2nd game. The difference was our offense did zilch, the defense was on the field the entire game. I would credit your defense more for that dub, they outplayed us and won. No excuses for our loss. Bottom line we split, respect should go both ways...

Weeeeeeell. Springfield gave up 20 points total in 4 games leading up to the HC loss. I’d say that 23 was impressive.

Exactly. Everybody knew Springfield had an elite defense and 23 is like scoring 40 to 50 on some random team.

Devon is a kid and an OUTSTANDING young man on top of that. @FargoStrut isn’t a kid (I am assuming that is who you mean). @FargoStrut can handle himself and respond accordingly. 

In all honesty I skimmed the posts and didn’t read then with total comprehension.  I just didn’t see any reason to disrespect a player BUT you are certainly entitled to your opinion and the right to express it to your heart’s content.  Carry on

First the run game between the tackles has to be better, we can’t rely on the outside runs and the qb to take the load on the ground. O-line has to be better at opening holes. Secondly the short/quick pass has to be more crisp, we can’t depend on the big plays on that end when you’re playing formidable competition. Greenbrier got out atheleted on the back end. That won’t be the case going forward in these big games. On a positive note the defense looked like it picked up where it left off last year and may be a little better and was really glad to see depth all over on that side of the ball. I know it’s game one and hopefully we’ll only get better with time. All that being said; Jackets roll on in week 2 against Clarksvegas.
