Battle on the Ridge: Dobyns-Bennett at West Ridge

Thanks @83SouthRebel for letting me create the thread.

The Tribe come in 4-0 (1-0 in conference) after tonight's 49-6 thrashing of Crockett.

The Wolves are searching for an identity after back to back beatdowns at the hands of Boone and the Hill (1-2, 0-1).

All the momentum is riding with the Indians in this one, but it's a rivalry game to the Wolves faithful, so as they say, in rivalry games throw the records out the window.

It's the Tribe's first visit to The Ridge and the folks in blue and gray will be out in full force come next Friday night.

Kickoff is at 7:30 for this one instead of 7:00.

In my opinion the South rivalry just continues through West Ridge. The Wolves will definitely give us their best game, but I don’t think it will be enough. Only time will tell though.

I understand the Wolves are a bit down this year after a pretty good year last year. So DB will still be whuppin those Sullivan County teams, now just consolidated and renemed. Good tune up for Greeneville, when we will see the real DB,

There aren't many Ridgers on coacht. My opinions on this year's group are known.  I fear the game will be over after the 1st qtr. The Indians are too talented. I hope the young Wolves continue to get better each week to prepare for the future.

DB by whatever score they want. West Ridge is just really really bad this year.

Indians by whatever they want, unless they just play their worst game possible, and even then I don't think that would be enough. WR is very young this year and makes too many mistakes to beat DB.

Just my 2 cents but until WR changes the offense and opens it up more they're going to struggle against DB and SH.  QB up the middle 35 times a game isn't going to get it done against 6A schools.
