Gordonsville by alot, Mercy Rule is possible

If Trousdale Co. makes the playoffs they are getting Squashed in Round One (They'd also get Squashed in a Bowl Game)

Gordonsville aint getting far either, likely gone in First Round

But Gordonsville at home by alot

I’d be willing to bet you every penny I have that says Gordonsville makes it out of the first round lol

Many are stating that Gordonsville isn't that good. They may be right, however, I think the issue is that so many things were changed in the off-season, along with injuries, that it's taking time to come together.

So far, they've been inconsistent. For example. I think Coalfield is better than Jo Byrns. We blew out Coalfield and JB kept it close. The only thing that makes sense is Gville's inconsistency.

Either way, we have two games to get it together before we play Celina. That's the one that really counts.

I don't know if the TC faithful can wait that long, because I don't see the talent pool getting any better until then. They may can coach them up, but lack of that seems to be complaints now, so...

We have no choice TC fans will have to just trust the process. I think Blake is doing the best he can with what he has.

Hopefully, come Monday TC still has enough kids to even play a game. With the rumors of more kids quitting the team. I hope they stick it out and finish the season no matter the record. These kids have battled all year and have improved throughout the season.

Who has said that besides Chris burr? I think most everyone knows Gville is good.

the kids have battled their butts of for sure, most of the losses are a combination of mistakes and being out gunned, but the mistakes fall just as much on Coach as they do on those kids.

It does but, to be honest even if the kids played mistake-free football with a perfect game plan the record would still be the same with 1 win. The mistake was making the schedule knowing how the team would be this year. But I know TCs sacrifice this year for last year's team with a schedule like this. Next year I hope he tones down the schedule some are we may end up wineless again next year. I know we can't cha he our region games but we are overmatched and in tired of playing Friendship every year. I also think our region will have some changes.

Watertown has 3A numbers this classification, The rest stay in our region, and that is more than likely true, but if the mistakes were corrected as they should be you beat Harpeth by 3 TDs, and everyone is content with continuing the playoff streak. For a lot of people to say Blake spent several weeks preparing for Harpeth and to lose is very underwhelming and borderline unacceptable.

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
    • No movement on Chester? South Gibson? Gibson County?
    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
