Cland vs North greene

Senior night in roan mountain.  We have 3.  I'm surprised no one has talked about gage McKinney running for 401 yards last night.  He only needs a little over 200 to reach 2000.  Jc only lost by 3 to wg and 6 to sg.  When at full strength cland is pretty good and they look ready to make another run

Landers getting close to fully healthy at the perfect time. They run away with this one and cruise into the playoffs at a good time.

Landers win easily just hope for no injuries for either team. NG is a couple years away from being competitive in these type of games. Love what Zac is doing and always been a fan of his.

I know Unaka has several key seniors leaving. How much will they drop off after this season?

I would say quite a bit. Not much coming up from middle school, however the current group looked that way too so we will see, but I’d expect a significant drop off.

You have a good coach there now.  Maybe not next season but the creekers will be back

I agree, if we get groups of kids who stick with it, he can coach them up by the time they are juniors and seniors. Might be some down years, but if they stick with him he will have competitive teams too.

Unaka parents just need to get their kids to play rec ball somewhere.  They'll never consistently compete with cland unless they do.  Our grasscutters just shut out the best team in Bristol 25-0.  They play Greenville next Saturday for the championship.  The boys will have a ton of football under their belt by the time they get to high school.

It looks like we'll finish up at 5-5.  I had us going 7-3 but I didn't foresee hv and west greene surprised me.  I wouldn't mind sliding into afton to watch them and CD
