NE needs composure and disciplined play and they will have a chance

I watched a good bit of Munford's game against Central last night, I see NE putting up some points, 14-21 maybe, but I dont see them stoppng Munford at all, I believe Munford will double them up...

Munford is legit. They are going to be tough to beat. Braxton Sharp is the real deal at RB.

I agree 100%, he was the one I was the most impressed with last night, their WR #11 was pretty good as well, QB is a good athlete but they are not the best passing team so they are pretty one dimensional. Overall a decent team and I believe Springfield will be going there round 2 for sure. I really like our chances if I am being honest...

I'm not gonna hate too hard on Dyer County. They decked us out of the playoffs a few years ago when nobody in the world gave them a chance. For that, I will never take them lightly. Newbern always has some good players. However, I don't see them hanging very long with this HC team. I think it'll end up along the lines of 42-14.

Is there no Dyer county posters left? They use to get real loud this time of year. This is just gonna be a warm up game for Henry County. The little brother we love to beat up on can’t seem to get away from making this trip no matter how bad they try. :hungry:

They all logged off two years ago when we hung half a hundred on them after they talked all that crap for two weeks. I’d love to talk to some of them though, if they want to log back on..

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
