Yeah, we need to figure something out. Somehow we gotta pay these guys more money to call a game.   My suggestion is the suits that are on the TSSAA payroll pony up.

It was a very interesting night. Blow out from the start and all the crying going on. It was a great atmosphere though. Should have tossed Vic but we decided not to. 
 

I did Middle school, JV, Freshman and Little boys ball on Saturday. Just busy with work on Friday nights

Vic was hard on everyone that night.  Even us that stand on the other side of the wall.  :)

I commend you for all the time and effort you put into these games. Without yall we don't have what we do.  Thanks.

      Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.

      It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
