I think it’s time tarlton takes responsibility for his team losing instead of blaming it on his players. He throws tantrums and whine when they lose because he can’t coach. The only years he’s ever been successful is when he has a bunch of exchange students that are actually good. He now has a bunch of kids who can’t play. He can only coach talent, but he can’t build up the ones who can’t play yet.

UH travels to North Greene tonight for a matchup.  Both teams are currently tied for second in the conference with each being at records of 2-2, who do we like for this matchup?  NG took down UH last meeting at Brooks gym, but it sounds like as of recently NG is struggling, with losing to Cosby, Hampton, and Unaka.  UH took down Unicoi in a big overtime win, however lost to South Greene at Brooks.  This one should be fun!

Still think Tarlton is some to blame for their lack of success. But that ng team is just not good. They have very few talented players. How are you supposed to go out there and win when that is your team.

Honestly, what more do you want from the guy?  They are in a lull yes and the talent is a bit down yes, but its not like he can recruit better players (legally).  He has taken NG to the state tournament multiple times, even winning games in the Boro.  What more do you want from him or who would you replace him with?

I don’t think it’s all Tarlton’s fault. They have a young team that has a long way to go. It’s hard to win at a high level when  over half of the players you’re starting wouldn’t be starting at any other school even here in Greene county. They’re good jv players but not quite there yet as varsity players. Some of our younger players don’t seem to understand the work that it takes to be successful like we have been in years past.

People at NG should leave him alone, he works hard with this program to give them their best chance on a nightly basis. That’s all I can ask of anybody and I don’t understand everyone complaining about him. NG is lucky to have him as a coach and would not find anybody better out there so people need to calm down and let the guy coach this team!!!
