Sunbright HBC Opening

I would honestly love to pick out the 11 worst teams from East Tennessee big and small and go see everyone of them just to try and understand why each have had the hardest time in trying to win a football game. Sunbright and Jellico would be on that bucket list. Being a Maryville fan that has seen most of their games especially during the years of the 70 and 60 game winning streaks it would be very interesting to see how the other side lives. It wouldn't be fun unless I could figure out how I could see everyone of those teams at their own place just to be able to set amoung and meet their fans . I've done crazzier things in life.

Nothing.  Only thing I know is they have interviewed only a handful of coaches and one of them was a current coach/teacher apparently at the school already.  I was told he has almost no experience coaching though but I can't confirm that.  Another I was told was from somewhere else and he has many years experience but I don't know anything about him other than that.

Maybe Sunbright doesn't need a coach?

The former head coach is now on the staff at Scott County. He has been at Scott County since January. I would think it would been posted way before now.

This is an opportunity to be a head coach and gain experience. Who knows, might turn into something special with some investment.  If I didn't have to move my family so far,  I would apply

I feel the same way housemouse.  It doesn't appear to have many housing opportunities available.  Kids are grown and just me, wife, and dog but I've looked every day and can't commit to the process and "hope" something hits the market.

 Hearing anything ? Surely this will go outside the building the only problem is a teaching spot. Those boys need to know they matter  someone needs named soon....

Has there been any update on this job yet? Admittedly I'm not familiar with the area, but is there something about this job that would be scaring off applicants? After looking at some Hudl and a full game from last year that's on YouTube, you can tell they aren't playing well but it's not like they look drastically different than your average small, rural school.

Unfortunately it is a very slow process in Morgan County. The politics are bigger than you may think in Morgan County. Even for jobs such as Sunbright. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.
