Yeah pretty much it but he gave that grin on the 5 backs at 200 plus. I picked up on that when he smiled. So to me Greeneville may want to do some power drives plus add extra protection for the pass. To me that's a much different approach than in the past with exception to that big guy Greeneville had a few years back. I am thinking he was Native American at least by name. He was pretty good picking up yards.

Greeneville has usually had combo of power and speed.   All the way back to Jamel Hall.  And then later on the combo of BJ Spradlin and Carmichael.

This year they have power backs that weight in  at 230, 220, 205., 200.  Not sure on the fifth guy:::   Then you have speed guys in Quillen (190) and Bishop. Chrisman at 230 is super fast too.

Combined with a really good QB and fast and tall receivers…. So it won’t be just a ground game. And the QB is also a strong runner (195)

You’re thinking of Youngblood.  Not a Native American though.  Haha

Great 1st Anderson County Televised Football weekly sports talk show tonight for the Maverick fans "The Davey Gillum Show" I am sure Davey would have it called something else but it is what it it. Haha

Now we can put a finger on the feeder program thats giving all this talent. Hats off to Coach Richie Noe and Coach Chris Moog; of course its a Noe and Moog lol. Great insite tonght with Coach Chadwell and Lambert Defense; with players like Cole Moog strictland LaRue Eli Nelson Israel Small etc.. Radcliffe top D1 kicker the Mavs have what takes to get the job done and in fashon this year.

What an exciting year for Mav fans not so much for non-Mav fans but they will come around eventually haha.

We need to see what is up.  I guess I expect too much. But besides 2 Ints his play just looked radical. I am no QB coach and he might settle down. we had a QB a few years back that threw 2 pic 6's 1 in the opening Powell game and finally the Mavs  removed him. But he reminds me of him. I may be wrong but he appears nervous gun shy or something can't put my finger on it.

If it's the kid that's bounced around to different schools every year then I can tell you exactly what his problem is...

    • Actually that young kid was in an offense that loved to throw the ball I believe.    Biggest problem for MC is if the coaching staff can figure out which mouths to feed at the appropriate time.
    • Have you ever been in education (administration) or a head coach? You’re responsible for all aspects of your program. If you were not checking the kids information correctly and left it up to someone else and they mess up. You’re held liable because it’s a failure on supervision, implementation of TSSAA eligibility and your school’s eligibility. Remember the wording in the article for him “CONTRACT NOT RENEWED” coaches are on a year to year contract and don’t sign the contract again until July. Do I believe he still should’ve been let go? Yes because you’re responsible for the total program and should be aware of everything going on. Do I believe he knew about the grade changes? No and that’s because nobody brought his name up until things got really bad and there is no indication with any paperwork showing he did. It’s just word of mouth from a teacher trying to cover herself.
    • TSSAA won't ever issue a death penalty, worst case scenario would be a post-season penalty that makes Clinton ineligible for the playoffs for a year or two (I believe 3 years is the most I have ever seen).  But TSSAA only does that in extremely rare circumstances.
    • I just want to echo that sentiment. Coach Woodmore is a good man and he is going to do things the right way and expect these kids to do things the right way. He will help grow them into fine young men. The wins will follow. I think Bolivar hit a home run.
