Eagleville is good, no doubt. But they obviously got the 3 weakest teams down there in their bracket, just like two years ago.

Someone is always complaining.

Gordonsville is in the drivers seat with their #1 arm available throughout the tournament. Kyle Adams got beat tonight.

UH is definitely sitting pretty in their bracket, but Eagleville is almost certainly going to make it to the final having to have only pitch 16 innings in 3 games. Southtowner
SP 2-1 vs Eagleville 2-0. McKenzie 2-1 vs Univ. School 2-0. Semifinals are set. Uphill climb for us. Mt. Everest you might say. Go Pirates!!

Baseball8
I am curious on why the Single A schools complain about where they play but teams like Clarksville, Beech and Farragut do not complain when they had to play Siegel at Siegel. Because Siegel is a AAAA facility. A good AAAA facility. Eagleville is a 1A facility. Albeit a nice one, but still, it's a 1A facility. There's no way around that fact. When I was in school, we played our 1A state tournament games at AutoZone Park, USA Stadium, Christian Brothers University, FedEx Park, and then even still Riverdale, which was one of the best AAA facilities in the state (I enjoyed playing at The Reservation, although the sunsets were brutal.) Now, kids have to travel 4 hours to play on a 1A field nearly 20 miles out of Murfreesboro. A field that, quite frankly, isn't even as nice as where a lot of teams play their district tournaments. Riverdale is a AAAA school. Eagleville has a pretty nice field. The seating definitely could be better, but the field is beautiful. Have you seen the field? At least the Championship game is played at MTSU.

I know some might have comments towards this, but in my opinion 1A baseball in West Tennessee is down outside of a handful of teams. It used to be competitive with more teams before the new classification cycle
