If this 0-2 does happen at least DB & SH have winnable games the following week (SH hosts Jefferson County and DB @ West Ridge).     Those games are winnable, right...?

I think SH will beat Jeff Co. easily. I still don't know about DB & WR. It's a question of how good is WR and how bad is DB. We'll probably find out Friday night.

I Don’t EVER see Witten leaving EHS for SH. Ain’t happening. He’s a legacy for his Grandfather “Father” Dave Rider. And i remember coach Rider coming out to a Friday Pep Rally in the Gym sitting on a toilet on wheels because JC gets its water downstream from Elizabethton’s wastewater treatment plant. 
They referred to us as “Cow Town” and we called them “Sewer City”. It was all in Fun of Course but they are and probably will Always be our biggest rival. It’s always been a David vs Goliath type game. With SH having 4x the enrollment of EHS. We’ve always held our own with SH going back 50yrs. It’s always been called the “Tri Cities” but Rider kept us competitive with the Bigger Schools. The only way i see Witten leaving is to be closer to his brother in Texas or maybe taking a College Job as an Assistant at a Power 5 or maybe ETSU if that opportunity opens up. But there’s just Not enough money to get Witten to coach SH.

I was there as well and after the game Nix told Shawn that was the best defense they had played all year.
