Sure is quite around here. The previous years this thread would have 10 plus pages of content.

Based off what little I saw and what I’ve heard of SG against Peabody, they struggled after the first couple drives. Gonna be a lot of people there Thursday. Might be some nervous folks in the south end of the county.

Will be some nervous people in the north end of the county too. Big game all the way around.

Milan wins a close one. Should be one of best atmospheres for a week 1 game in the state. I’m just keeping it real.

No one really knows who is about it and who is not. We are all making educated guesses and no good coach is going to show their hand in dress rehearsals. Fortunately, we only have to sleep 1 more time before it will be game day and we will find out!

Milan football: It's home of Johnnie Hall Stadium, but it's also home of Bill Murray press box (I think), it's also home of someone's field (check the scoreboard tomorrow night), and it's home of Tucker's field House. Hey, @BIGPURPLEMACHINEwhen is your name going on something? lol

This game is as good as advertise. I stated in a thread few weeks ago, four of the five last SGC/Milan football games have resulted in one possession or less. Only year it was not a one possession game was the covid year in 2020. Chances are you'll watch a good game. I do like South Gibson to come out on top. If they can get everything going offensively, they'll be tough to stop.

Who said it wasn’t already in something?  :)

    • Looks like South Pittsburg added some more talent!
    • So much talk about an investigation about student record manipulation and then everything has went silent. Has anyone heard how the investigation is going?
    • Basically what you're saying is schools can basically bully students around and get away with it because they are protected. I agree to a certain extent but when schools decisions to keep knuckleheads on staff starts costing kids careers and a college education there is a problem. Our school system last week had a teacher supposedly push a kid and the parents went to the law and the teacher is suspended. So I wouldn't say that they can just do what they want without liability. This case don't pass the smell test because the coach had already been fired before and she got fired after a year on the job. Sounds like the student was right in this case on the outside looking in because the coach gets fired after one year. How many coaches get fired after one year?? Not many.
    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
