Science Hilltoppers 0-1 Visit The 0-1 AC Mavs

Recommended Posts

Watching the NFHS replay. We had two opportunities passes dropped but other than that our QB had receivers open but went to the ones that were covered right close by each important time. Now as QB mentality..... Who does that. Something just don't add up. How can a QB do that. Lord only knows.

Bless his heart. That poor kid has been through a lot.

I know he just keeps on trying. He played hurt the Powell game then I assume on xray found fracture. Not sure he would or would not be out entirely season but just guessing I would believe he would be.

Mav, I suggest you get some sleep. He's just a high school QB. Many high school QBs don't have great vision and can't go through their progressions. They lock in on WR1 (or the main target on a given play) and let it fly.

So true osu. We get caught up in arm strength, 40 time ect. Yet it is the intangibles that make great qbs.

That Bearden defense is for real. I'm not trying to sound negative, but I'll be surprised if AC even scores against Bearden.

West and Alcoa both struggled offensively, but they did just enough to beat Bearden.

That's another reason I wouldn't want to play Bearden next. They are going to come in with something to prove after 2 close losses.

Yeah it's a brutal schedule. With Moog out and offence struggling in redzone trying to find an identy. Mavs have alot of work. They have a good all around core talent. Getting on the same page is harder than I would have guessed but again we are playing some of the best teams. We have to punch it in because all that work to get down in the redzone evaporates and that can wear on a good team like the Mavs.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
