Bearden VS Anderson County

Picking Bearden because a close loss to Science Hill is nothing compared to a close loss to Alcoa or Knox West. Alcoa wins the state championship every year and science hill exits in round 1.

Great report tonight The Davey Gillum report. Big update, an accurate update on the Science Hill game, unlike mine. I get a little carried away. Anyways Mavs appear to be turning the corner. But Bearden is still an uphill task. Davey has alot of faith in this team and knowing Davey that is a really good sign. 7 pm game time per coach Terry.

Don't understand the fans thinking this would be a good year for the mavs after losing a senior class like that and all of those positions were key position losses.  Plus, I heard they even lost a great coach that had been there for a while. Those are huge losses in a program.

Bearden had Alcoa and West beat they just didn't finish. Was on the 6 inch line and fumbled against Alcoa would have went up 2 scores..and only need a 1st down to beat West. No excuses got to finish. AC is always a tough game, they have great tradition and pride. Weight room culture is there and the Oline used to be their key to victory. South Doyle had some really good teams that would go to war with them. BUT....The Bulldogs if the QB can play well will win

Ok we know AC has Moog out. We know that many have said Bearden might have t the biggest linemen in state, by far. So. The Mavs are growing and learning. Bearden should/could be 2-0 easily. So can the Mavs somehow pull this 41 point Underdog of an upset? Tomorrow night we will find out how much, if any fight the Mavericks have. Mavs just come out alive in one piece with those mad dogs.

Bearden by a few scores. Gave Alcoa the best game they've seen in years.
