Most schools are 160 or below in the East? There are 6 varsity football programs in the state below 160 and 11 below 200. In class 1A there are 38 schools with enrollment of 200+.

Great info!! Maybe I shouldn't have painted with such a broad brush, but it is interesting to see that 3 of the 6 teams are in Region 2.

Union City fans are just going to have to accept the fact that nobody in the state of Tennessee believes they belong in 1a. Even if your numbers are true there will be a mental asterisk beside any championship.If you didn't live in uc and saw another city with uc population and the fact they missed being in the next classification by a couple kids you would think something is up to.

We will be reading about Mase in a few years about being one of the biggest Tssaa scandals ever. To have 383 kids on enrollment then to be able to recount and slide in under the 1a numbers was just a slap in the face for all the schools trying to do it the right way.

Cloudland is 5-13 against Coalfield historically. They are 1-9 out of the last ten games
