If ER plays discipline they win…by multiple scores. If ER talks any…they loose by multiple scores.

If ER’s lineman O and D show up and at least hold up till they can get the ball into playmakers hands, then you guys should win by 14-21. If they play like, I assume, they did vs Monterey then it may be a long night for the Fr. QB with a lot more on his shoulders. Same can be said about SC too heard they have not been as physical in some games which is hard to believe with their size.

Should be a one of the better games around. I’ll take Arthur’s Indians by 14.

ER has to have twice as many penalty yards than we do total yards. Owls had gifts of 1st and Goal on the 4 and then 1st and Goal on the 5 and didn’t capitalize. Just ugly on both sides really.

Yeah, I believe the refs need to chill on the flags on both sides, I hate it when the refs become more noticed than the players in a game...

If ER would use more of their athletes they would be much better offensively in games against teams that can keep you off the scoreboard when you hand the ball to the same guy everytime, up the middle...

Just throw flags the rest the game as well...

I was getting ready to post the exact same thing, especially getting the other Groves kids more involved.

Also, I don't know if I've ever seen a team this undisciplined. That's on the coaches.

Yeah dosent make any sense, hard to criticize them because the program is having more success than it has ever had, but if they could just sure up a few little things they could be a legitimate contender for the 2A title...

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
