Congrats tigers I love central as my second team,  out of the two places I grew up in but I kinda had a feeling they were kinda breezing through those last few  games a little to close to the sun and then the sweetwater game got em all hyped up. I had the feeling it'd likely be a little closer than this, but I'm at least happy my cherokees won their game tonight. I'm kinda worried central may lose to Tyner for some reason. But I think they will finish 6-4

Central ran 60 plays for 365 yards with 4 turnovers. Meigs ran 45 plays for 386 yards and 0 turnovers. Central was penalized 14 times for 162 and Meigs 19 for  203.

Tyner is young, athletic, and will improve as the season goes on. Wish we had already played them.

I feel the same way wishing central had scheduled them earlier

Two of the turnovers were stripped balls if I'm not mistaken. All of the turnovers came in the 2nd half I believe?

Always dislike that many penalties when teams play, but it showed how much these teams wanted to beat each other. I could see us meeting again in the playoffs. It's looking like you are playing now for either 2nd or 3rd in the region where we are either going to be 1st or second. We still have Brainerd and Tyner.

I have to say congratulations to Central, they scored more points last night than the last 8 years combined. That makes 9 years straight and 362 to 50.

   That's an old Cocke County High School logo, my alma mater.  Tennessee grad and fan.  

I'll check with a parent of an FFA member!

Congratulations on a butt whipping! Be a great playoff atmosphere if the Chargers can get it together. Weren't very disciplined last night. Time to improve on that though. GGs!

Both teams played undisciplined. It was hard to watch at times. You have a strong offense when they are clicking. Get your defense to match that and your team could play with the best of them.
