Dresden vs Union City

I heard mase got a waiver to play Colin kaepernick in the playoffs.  Jets paying him 10 mil to leave them alone and play for a team he has enough talent for.  Im joking... the Tssaa has limits.... I think

UC players if you read this know you have nothing to hang your heads about. You played you tails off and came up just short of a win. This is what football is all about two great teams with great kids on both sides battling. Unfortunately someone has to lose. Now the life lesson is to get up move on and live to play another day. No one from Dresden can say that you didn’t play them better than anyone they faced. There wasn’t ref issues or bad calls it was great kids playing a great sport and everyone on the field giving their all. Each of these teams will be in the playoffs and hopefully we get to see the rematch because this was one of the best high school games I have watched and the rematch would be epic. Now to both teams go finish strong and let’s meet again in Dresden in the playoffs.

There was great sportsmanship during, & after the game too. Both teams balling out on each other, knocking each other around, helping each other up.. reset & do it again. Lots of that. Afterwards.. UC players guys crushed, dejected.. just sitting or laying on field, maybe even crying.. Lion players went over to them to console, congratulate, & lift them up, literally & allegorically. , after immediate emotional angst, snd some time passed on, I saw UC players staying around and going to Dresden players too. Those words exchanged in all these moments between such warriors are epic, & transformational. This is the stuff of legends. Just an amazing game in every way, at all levels. Another great  part is, zero injuries (i think so anyways.. nobody bad off). This was one for the ages.

Great game by two very good teams. Dresden won because they had the last possession. If there was two minutes left after we scored UC would have probably won. Feeling good about both of these teams come playoff time. Good luck to UC the rest of the way. Until we meet again. If we are fortunate enough to get that far.

Mad props to both teams! Listened to it driving 40 last night. This one was one to remember…a war! Congrats to both teams. Great job Dresden

Thought Dresdens o-line played lights out and wore U.C. down. Would love to see a rematch in the third round. Dresden made 2 mental mistakes that gave UC two of there scores. Corner got caught looking in and got beat on a 4th and 13 then we handed them the ball on the 10. Game lived up to the hype
