I think the stud running back is only a junior? Not sure about QB but if he's back,SF will be a load.LC only has 4 seniors but maybe about 3 years being a contender with middle school beating bigger schools Crockett Co,Three Oaks handily,Dresden,Fulton Co and 6 point loss to Northview. So these kids are use to playing larger schools which should help as they get older. And think about 8 or 9 starters on that team are back next year. But ur right.SF should be improved.

Whitehead the rb is a junior I'm pretty sure. MacFarland the QB is definitely back next year. I think their big receiver #23 is also back

I guess I gotta be the a-hole who asks but why in the world didn't Schlicht start at QB last year? Oliver is a college athlete and his HS career speaks for itself but Schlicht put the ball where it needs to be pretty much every time.

Schlicht had Tommy John surgery at 16. He could play with a brace (linebacker) but could not throw anything for a long time. He was an ace pitcher before that. So he has a bit of pent up energy he is unleashing this year as well. Incredible kid on & off the field.

Trap Game 101 right here. Dresden has beaten all the bigshots on their schedule to make it to 7-0 & should win this by as much as they want to. But neighborhood region foes with nothing to lose & everything to gain should be taken seriously. Especially one that's playing at home & putting up what 35 a game avg?  Even with what seems like half their team bit by the injury bug?

There you go, that's it right there!

Dresden seniors are motivated. They take ever game personal and play ever game like it's there last. There on a mission and after the Union City win they have a fire to win it all. We needed that game because all year we heard how it was Union City's region to lose.

Does S Fulton have enough Kids to play a full game. Last time i saw them they had 18 “dressed” and 4 or 5 on crutches.

They will probably dress 20-22 for tomorrow night's game.  That seems to be an every year problem at SF.  They battle the injury bug way more than everyone else.

I saw em in a playoff game. I know it’s an awfully small school but they are well coached played hard and showed a lot of class. I suppose the injuries are due to 8 or 9 kids playing Iron Man Football. I wish them well and their program and kids.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
