Until last night it was Oakland’s to lose. It’s been wide open, but it took an Oakland loss for me to say it’s anyone’s to win.

I think that’s understandable especially for those who haven’t watched Oakland much this year, but they haven’t been as dominant as in years past and a lot of it has to do with the QB position. But make no mistake they are good enough to win it again too

Not sure the refs had any impact on your kids jumping offsides.

let me be clearer...we stopped committing penalties and cleaned that part up and stopped hurting oursleves by getting penalties..

although i didnt see anything our players did when it was 8 against 1 for us to also get an unsportsman like penalty when our guys helmet came off saw a replay on TV didnt see any of our players do anything there but that doesnt mean we didnt do anything

We will see if kevin greasy is a team man or a daddy.

I would guarantee you that he has put that team in front of his entire family many times with the success that he has had. I would assume that he would get the benefit of the doubt given his accomplishments while at Oakland

I said last week that Oakland was playing a dangerous game after the Ravenwood game.  They had to withstand an early storm and rally from a hole to come back and win that game.  Last night was the same thing just the opposite way around.  They were up 17-0 and after a strong first half they weren't the same football team in the second half.  Give Riverdale's coaches and players 100% credit for rallying the troops and being the better team when it mattered most.  Oakland just lost the region championship as a result of that last night.  I would say that their coaches will remind the team and develop a renewed attitude in practice.  I would not want to be the team that plays Oakland next Friday in the opening round.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
