Well, surprising... That score stands out as an anomaly, an aberration, an outlier, so I assumed there was something extra going on...Regardless, we are in for a tight one tonight...

The 1st half was a good half for Marion. 2nd half Seq gave up. With a running clock they came out and just ran the ball up the middle. Sp offensive line is their weakest point I believe. Defensive line is very good. If not for that pick 6 right before half your game with sp was a 1 score game at halftime.

Beat Marion by 35??? That's funny.

That seq game showed a glimpse of how good this Marion team could be.  Then there are other games that have shown how bad it could be, like dade or Forrest.  For them to get where they want to be the offense has to be more diverse and not so predictable.   Notice your coaches calling out the offensive plays that Marion will run tonight.  Like the sequatchie head scratcher, one for me would be cascade vs huntland early in the season.  How in the world do you barely scrape by them?  Cascade has some good looking athletes, thats for sure, maybe they just aren't well coached?

   It took Cascade time to get everyone comfortable in their new roles/develop an identity--14 Seniors but a new Qb & backfield etc-- & new OC---Really painful to watch the first 3 games of the season...Got right vs Community, turned a corner vs Watertown, & have been cooking along pretty good since then...The Defense & effort will be there tonight & I'm hoping that just enough offense shows up too! Might be a field position battle between two slightly predictable offenses...

Sequatchie has only been at full strength for for the first couple of  games.  They have had a starter or multiple out with various injuries in every game since the opener and at least two starters that have been out the last 2/3 weeks with season ending injuries.  The bad loss to Marion was the perfect storm for Marion, Sequatchie played over their heads the week before vs. South Pittsburg in a really good hard nosed game and sustained some injuries.  Marion caught them coming off an emotional hard fought loss and with injuries so may not have changed the over all outcome but Sequatchie obviously wasn't the team that they have been the majority of year. I assure you Marion is not 45 points better than Sequatchie.  Sequatchie beat Marion last year by 1 or 2 points.  They are very comparable teams if fully stocked and healthy.

Got on here to wish Jasper good luck and say it will be neat to see two undefeated teams in the county for the first time ever.
 

I then notice the ignorance is flowing as always. SP did play the #1 ranked D2 A team this season. I’m not sure Jasper played anyone of that caliber. Regardless congratulations on a great season.

I feel like we have have played more competitive teams overall but thank your for the support it is great for our community
