Norman Dale
Maryville gets the win over WB 67-61. Third quarter was the difference. Great performances by sophomore guards Woodlee and Hazelbaker for Rebels- those two are a handful. Robertson and Windle had good, but not great, games for WB. Govs needed one of them to score 30+ to beat Maryville and they didn’t. Edited January 13 by Norman Dale

There’s a lot of basketball left to play and everyone knows tournament play is where it counts. But the Red Rebels lead the district now with the big win last night.

Last two games I attended in LA had guys squaring off.
bounder
That happened in Oak Ridge tonite. Oak Ridge and Karns were chippy all night and in the second half they almost came to blows more than once.

MLREB
Lol at what the WB coach said per the Daily Times. I’m sure he was misquoted.

What a terrible example he is for teenage athletes. SMH. From running out on the floor and creating a mess at fairgut to not giving your opponent credit in a big win at your place, he acts like an adolescent. It’s all about them. The good AD in LA should have already put an end to such representation.

They do have some really good players. Coach should give other teams credit in public. Say whatever you want in the locker room.
