ER has the better players. Coaching should be even. ER wins if they don't have 150 yards in penalties or tons of turnovers.

Keep thinking that and you will see if they beat ER. Jekyl and Hyde this year it seems with their HC not being able to have them consistent but if they play their game it can get ugly quick. Talent al

If ER has won like they have the past couple years with underclassmen that tells me that coaching is pretty good. Marion took their lumps last year with a ton of underclassmen and its paid off this season. I believe they return 16 or 17 starters next year with quite a few talented freshmen that got into some games during the season. Our kids know they have a tall task ahead and hopefully they play to their potential.

MARION WILL BE UP FOR THIS GAME. i dont think they were up for forrest at all. forrest played out of their minds and still lost.

They were extremely flat and talking to coaches afterwards and the next day they echoed that. That's been normal for this group though. They win some games just on talent.

They better be up for this game or they will get run out of their own stadium.

The game I watched between ER and SC both teams are pretty good but Marion can beat both.

Negative.  Pickett isn't as fast as you think.  He has been ran down a bunch this year.  He is quick though

2500 yards rushing through 11 games?  Is it a one man show?

      Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!

      In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
