Millington vs Haywood

Haywood is a heavy favorite to beat Millington at home and advance to the quarter-finals. Massey predicts:

Millington will be a challenge.  Haywood has got to play with discipline and limit the penalties.

I think haywood wins this game but it will be a test for haywoods defense.

I think the Tomcats win this game easily but Millington proved Friday night that they are no pushover. Keep shocking the world Millington!

Kudos to Millington getting the big victory over Crockett County, didn't see that one coming. But this week its Haywood's game to lose. Haywood's athletes take over in the end and win this game! I'll 42-28 Tomcats!

Millington's QB is legit, but outside of him I do not think they can keep up with Haywood. Ill take Haywood 42-17

Stacmot, I can save you the trouble of watching the Millington-Melrose game. We committed 6 turnovers with 5 of them coming in the 1st half. Fumbled first play of the game, threw an interception on the second possession, screwed up on special teams on the next possession and on and on and on. You can't beat anyone with that many turnovers. Just hope we give ourselves a fighting chance this week vs Haywood or it will be a short night

i watched the crockett millington game it seemed like a battle from what i saw. Millington's qb is a good player and has some speed to him

I admit that I don't keep up with Millington at all since they let our region this year, or any of region 8 for that matter. But I did just  watched most of these two games from the links and I have to say Millington looked like 2 completely different teams. We all thought 7 would easily sweep 8. So either Melrose is a whole lot better than most thought or Region 7 & 8 are equally good. if you watched the end of that Millington Crockett game Millington could have easily scored on Crockett to win by 11 but decided to run the clock out. And I'm not so sure they didn't score. But that's just my opinion.

Watched some of the Crockett-Millington game. The Millington QB is a hoss. Thought he was a great runner then he uncorked a couple of pretty TD passes. My guess is that Haywood will be successful if they can keep the QB from beating them by himself.
