Auggie show me one place where I have bragged on Will. Your fixation with KC has to be concerning.

I understand that you haven't been part of a successful football team, therefore, winning is something you haven't experienced. I also understand that you were shunned during your time at Oakland, but you cannot let that make you into some buffoon. Every time you say stupid things, it just reveals your ignorance and bitterness. I support the players and the coaches of a school that has surpassed Riverdale's success under Rankin.

Augggie we have a saying that you are familiar with.......A man fantasizing over another man is not normal.

You are one sick individual, but I have been told that about you from others.  Because Oakland had you shipped to Riverdale for some obvious reasons, you continue to act like a little girl.

  • 7 months later...

Gary Rankin Career 484-85

has coached at Smith County, Riverdale,

Alcoa and Boyd-Buchanan.

First year coaching at Smith County 0-10

17 state championships, first year at Riverdale 4-6

after that won 10 plus every year made nine

state championship games won four.

Has coached two guys in National Football League

Fernando Bryant first round draft pick Riverdale

Randall Cobb Kentucky played at Alcoa retired after

13 years in the NFL.

---------------------------------------------------

Riverdale's 1994 team is the best I've ever seen

Antron Peebles Tennessee, Alvin Duke Vanderbilt

David Coppeans Vanderbilt, other players Brian Davis

Corey Carney etc. etc.

also, assistants Ron Crawford, Jimmy Maynord

defensive mastermind.

David Watson very good assistant football

coach at Oakland. hopefully will get another

chance to be a head coach someday.

Riverdale played out of state teams too

 in Kentucky and others etc.

Both Rankin and Creasy the same no-one wants

to play them so they have to go out of state.

You don't have to play 10 games to qualify for

playoffs, you can play less.

A great Murfreesboro rivalry to be sure and

will be renewed Halloween Night at Tomahawk

Stadium in 2024 on the turf at Riverdale.

Will Kevin Creasy surpass Rankin in wins or

championships it remains to be seen. Both great coaches that

go about it in different ways would love to

see them matchup and I know Gary Rankin

is scared of no one. He is the GOAT-- bottom line.

    • The golf preseason came to a close Friday at Indian Hills as the I-24 Invitational hosted by Rockvale was contested. Webb School won the title by 13 shots 295-308 over Rockvale. Rockvale girls won the title by five shots over Providence  Christian 155-`160 after the Lions won the 1913 Invitational at Johnson City by 10 shots over Greeneville. The course was wet and muddy in the morning but the rain finally broke and some good scores were had. The Webb School boys had Phet Phothong score a 69 while Carter  Burks shot 70 following up his 72 in Johnson City on Monday. The girls had Solia Mechling of Rockvale lead the way with a 73 in taking the title as they improved their score by 30 shots over Monday in East Tennessee as they found the homestead Indian Hills to their liking.  Rockvale and Central Magnet will head to the Battle of Hermitage on Wednesday July 31st. On Tuesday Stewarts Creek and Smyrna will do battle at Smyrna Golf Course  with an early tee time of 11 AM. The next day Oakland, Webb and Nolensville will tee off at Champions Run beginning at 9 AM.
