Not sure the TSSAA will like this hire.  A Nashville dude in the know told me Thursday night at the big game that part of Lipscomb being reinstated for next year was to stay away from the Dilfer tree.

Vanderbilt alumni played basketball and football. He’s also a ucla alumni “Played football”. Coached football and basketball at Hillsboro before coming to Lipscomb and coaching.

What are the thoughts on coach Blade?  Not from the Dilfer tree.  Also, the Kreager story said he was out of coaching for a year or two.  Not coaching or teaching.

Personally I think it's very smart move. Great coach, experienced head coach, and knows the area well. LA is lucky to get someone with his experience and knowledge.

..not quite that national reach that was previously in place....but for sure nose the area well....should be a good spend of money
