I don’t know the guy, but I read your post as a knock against him. Are we knocking a coach for trying to build his program? A coach going to local middle school games and travel tournaments is a positive

Gouge has john Stockton, Michael Jordan and Kareem. Hope he CAN be successful. And he has a supporting cast for those 3.

It’s great thing to watch YOUR kids and not try to persuade kids in other zones to come move to yours. But hey to each their own. I’m all for coaches going to support their middle schools, and travel team with their players. Now, with that said he has some ballers on there that can play. I’d say they will make the state in the next year or two if not this year.

I'd say Crockett goes this year.  The drop from 4A to 3A will certainly be beneficiary, avoiding a possible game with Bearden in the sectional.

I think if the Story girl can manage her foul output, they are pretty well unstoppable in this area.

Besides #23 name another player on that team he has recruited? That's great he's engaging in his future players.

Other zones? All the current players have came from feeder schools in the Washington County system except 1. Only one senior on the team.

She couldn't handle a great coach. Exactly plus a few more off the bench.

IMO a great coach takes average or maybe even below average players and creates a winning team. I only know of a few coaches that can claim that.
