The #2 player in the country (24/7 Sports) is a Chattanooga kid named Ace Bailey. He left Boyd Buchanan and now plays for McEachern in Atlanta. He's special.

Special doesn't even properly describe that kid haha...they don't make many like him anymore. Did not know he was from Chatt originally.

Brentwood Academy has some of the best athletes in the country. No passive aggressiveness on my part.

I didn’t mean to quote you in that post. I was meaning it in general on this post. But, plenty of really talented kids have gone to lesser known basketball programs and make a name. Look at Knect guy at UT. Are you gonna think different of Ty if he goes to Cookville instead of Knoxville?

Agree with this post!  With the transfer portal the way it is now I think alot of people do not understand how difficult it is for boys to get d1 offers.  You have a lot of local fans that think if someone is good for the area they are going power 5.  That is not the case.  Some people just do not understand the process or understand difference in talent levels.  Tyler Tanner is amazing and if he was taller he could go and produce anywhere he wanted to.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
