I think he said this sarcastically as a response to a Carthage poster saying welcome to 2A ball and calling Gordonsville “little brother”

I edited to show I was referring to Jeremiah.

How many starters was Gordonsville missing in this game? How different of a game would this one had been with your missing players?

Foster - QB1. Got hurt against Clay

Grisham - RB1. Got hurt against DeKalb in week 6

Williams - RB2. Got hurt against Clay

Totally different if we have all 3 of them healthy. Grisham was a baller with good speed and strength. Williams was a scat back, if he got out there in open space you wasn’t catching him. Foster obviously is QB1 and been on the field a lot since freshman year in different capacities when Albritton was a senior QB. If he was healthy, we would have had a better threat of throwing the football and would’ve had complimented what we did on the opening drive last night very well

Not saying we would’ve won for sure, but it would have been a completely different look from our team. All credit in the world goes to Chatt Prep last night though. A football team isn’t about 1 player, or 2 players, or even 3 players. It’s about the whole team and Chatt Prep played better than we did last night and they deserved to win the game

Foster and Williams would've both been playing defense too.

That wasn't the point.  C-Prep wasn't used to getting hit early and often.  Furthermore, C-Prep gets lucky a lot themselves or they would have been blown out by the end of the 3rd at SP.

Explain lucky? Defenders being too slow to cover guys is lucky? Let’s be real here. The game was a 1 score game and if we hadn’t assisted with some drives it would’ve been a different story. Nobody that watched that game thought the game was in hand or over until Prep’s last drive. Pitt won fair and square. Not saying they didn’t deserve it but Prep didn’t play well. South Pitt is gonna have to be better than they were the first game to do it again. Hard to beat a good team twice. Winner of this has inside track to Chatt! I’m just keeping it real.
