LB13
what is the toughest district in AAA B-Ball
85warrior
Toughest is Dist. 7-AAA. I'm pretty sure Oakland, Riverdale, Cookeville, and White Co. all have only one loss right now. The Tennesseean had its top 10 midstate poll in the paper today{Dec. 16th} and 3 of the 10 teams were from 7-AAA.

Opperman
16-AAA. Craigmont, Fairley, Hamilton, Melrose, Central, East, Northside, and Whitehaven. There's not an easy game in that district some years. Most years there's never more than one or two teams that aren't particularly good. Hamilton and East always have three or four D-I signees on the roster (not necessarily all seniors, though...and Hamilton has WAY more of them), Melrose and Fairley are usually really good, Northside and Central are usually pretty good. Craigmont and Whitehaven always have tremendous athletes, but they usually have trouble putting the pieces together. 15-AAA isn't a cakewalk either, but White Station is just on a different level than anybody else in the region...Germantown is pretty good, the rest are usually just above-average. JET2
The one with Cumberland Co., Rhea Co., McMinn Co., Bradley, and Cleveland is pretty tough. Every district game means so much because all the teams HATE each other, and it brings the best out in all the teams....... this year is a toss up any team could beat each other ..... well I guess Bradley has the edge right now, but anything can happen???? yep
Without a doubt 9-AAA. Hendersonville, Smyrna, and no add Lavergne for toughness. Then you have Gallatin coach Luna is one of the best around. Beech is playing pretty good and mt. Juliet is coming around. There will be alot of parity in this distict this year. bigchief
District 12AAA with Maplewood, Stratford, Whites Creek, McGavock, Hunters Lane, Glencliff, Pearl-Cohn, and Antioch. All 8 teams have been to the state Tournament. Other than McGavock, they have all been in the last 10 or so years as well. There is never a night off. Sorry 9AAA, but you can't touch that. Gallatin and Hendersonville are the only teams in the last 10 years to make it. Beech went in '91. I know that Lavergne, Mt. Juliet, and Wilson Central (I know they are only a year old.) have NEVER been to the state. Mt. Juliet has never even won their district tournament in boys. EVER. Didn't the school open in the 1920's? White House went back in AA ball. I couldn't tell you if or when Smyrna ever went to state. The previous post on the Memphis district is the only close comparison.
TnBball
As a member of 10AAA i've always thought that the other district (9AAA) was a cakewalk if we could make it out of our own district. Those teams have never been able to handle 10AAA and the numbers dont lie. The only district to have good success or give 10AAA any competition has been the one with Maplewood, Whites Creek, Hunters LANE, STRATEFORD. Even Pearl Cohn has played us pretty tough but for the most we've all came out even.
