Off the subject a little, but I remember reading about one of their other future players, Pedro Holiday, when he was in high school. You never know what you're going to get from a junior college player for a variety of reasons, but this guy was a very highly rated receiver coming out of Rome, Georgia. Another thing, 4-8 is a disgrace with the talent they've brought in the last 3 or 4 years, even with UT and 2 more high bowl-worthy teams Alabama and Kentucky.

4-8 was disappointing. Injuries were killers. Dwone Hicks, Andrico Hines, Tyrone Calico, and other key personnel were injured an d missed games throughout the season. When you have those kind of injuries and the fact that Middle Tennessee is still not at the 85 scholarship maximun by more than a dozen, a 4-8 season is understandable.

 

The fact is Middle Tennessee is still in the progress of building a 1A football program and there are still great opportunities for young men to come to Middle Tennessee and as CoachMac says:

 

"Be the reason why (at Middle Tennessee) and not just another guy," at some other school.

Did he originally commit verbally to Tennessee? I remember someone telling me that he had, and this came as somewhat of a surprise to me.

I think he still wants togo to Tennessee. Middle Should be a good fit for him tho. I hope he does well there and ill be goin to see him play this next year for sure.
