Anybody have any opinions on the best books written on high school or college football?

Friday Night Lights is a good read about high school football in Texas. Feinstein has a good book about the rivalry between Army and Navy.

My two favorites are by far Friday Night Lights and The Junction Boys. If you have read Friday Night Lights yet, today go to the store and buy it. It follows a team from Texas throughout their season and is beautifully well written. One of my favorite books I've ever read. Also the Autobiography of Walter Payton- can't think of the title right now- is a great book.

Friday Night Lights is an incredible book. It shows high school football from the 1988 season for a team from Odessa, Texas. It shows everything involved uncensored and depicts what high school football is all about.

Friday Night Lights is required reading for any high school coach or player in my opinion.
