Many others returning--only five seniors start on this year's team. the rest are juniors and sophomores. Little doubt who'll be #1 in next year's pre-season poll, especially if my warriors bring home the hardware!!!!!!!!!!!

Macon County will loose about 13 or 14 Seniors, that opens the door for some of the younger guys to step in and make big time contributions to the team and play key roles.

The Tigers have some guys returning who have seen a lot of playing time this year, either as a starter or coming off the sideline. I see good things in the future for Macon County football.

My top Ten in Knoxville.

1.McCallister AE

2.Albert Harris AE

3.Garett Reynolds Carter

4.Bruhin Powell

5.Littlejohn Carter

6.Longworth Central

7.Lee Smith Central

8.Stanton Carter

9.Helton Central

10.Lockwood Halls

After the top 2 the rest could be in any order.McCallister and Harris are definetly 1 and 2.

Ryan Walker should definately be on this list. He is a Fullback 6'0" 225 pounds with the speed of a halfback and putting up numbers like a halfbuck rushing for over 1200 yards.

But SCHS will beat Macon this time. They only got lucky because they had a great kicker. SC has

1. Dusty Brady

2. Michael Wilmore

3. Billy Plummer

4. Matt Dyer

5. Dave Silcox

That's just a few of the good ones we have coming back. Yes we are losing some great ones but.......

We will be even better next year.

:D Surely somebody has to recognize Austin Rogers from Lipscomb. With one ring on his finger and another one coming, 4.4. speed, 12 int's this year and 22 TD receptions. And just a junior!

Also if Lipscomb can win this year and another one in '04 would anyone give little D. Elrod a look?
