This is a tough blow to their wrestling program. I hope someone is stepping up and helping. Even though most of us think wrestling is life, there is life other than wrestling and sometimes you have to take time to sort all of that out. I hope Coach Hill comes back refreshed and ready to go.

They had a good coach in Tommy Badon & they ran him off. They scream for discipline but if you discipline the wrong student/athlete you have a problem.

Coach Jon Hill is still on staff @ FHS. They have added a new coach to their program that works well with Coach Hill. They now have Jon Hill, Charles Gillespie & Jeremy Welder working with the FHS Wrestling Program.

 

Be watching, because those Rebels may be breaking out this year with some serious competition.

 

I've talked with all these guys and they want to make the sport of wrestling a serious program in Middle Tennessee. The only way to do it is to bring in more and more great coaches and kids to the sport.

 

Their team ended up 4th place at the State Individual Tournament last year, where will they finish in 2004?

I love what Coach Hill is trying to do for wrestling at Franklin! He certainly is a great coach and I look forward to congratulating him after a state championship sometime in the NEAR future.
