Marcell Price was a great player and person. He attended Whites Creek in the early 90's. Marcell was a role model and son of a preacher. He signed with NorthWeastern the year before they won the Rose Bowl. Marcell lost his life the summer before his sophmore year at the hands of his best friend. Playing with a gun is not cool.

I've seen both Eric Westmorland and Eddie Moore play in high school, they are part of the biggest rivalry in TN. Both where extremely dominant on the field. Both played great in college. I believe Eddie Moore will pan out better than eric in the end.

Travis Cozart of lenoir city was a great running back. He went on to take James Stewart starting job while James was a Sr. He got into some trouble and got kick off the team after the orange and white game. In which he rushed for over 200 yards. He went on to the St. Loius Rams and got in more trouble. He would have been an all american and maybe a Heisman canidate.

Todd Collins- Jefferson County started at LB in two Super Bowls, one with New England and lost- the other with St. Louis and won.

He was USA Today Defensive Player of Year/ Bigger Faster Stronger magazine athlete of the Year.

Won state at Jeff County and finished #4 USA Today rankings (maybe highest any team from TN has ever finished)

Thank you cbg for adding E.J. Junior to the list. He along with Preston Brown and Ronald Hale, all of Maplewood in the early 70's, were absolutely outstanding! Watched many a game with Preston and Ronald and then a few years later E.J. playing some of the best football I have ever seen!!
