alzado
Now that Coach Coure has decided to step down, who will get the job? Future could be bright. Freshmen team just won the city championship. Who are the candidates? Some possibilities: Arcentae Broome - ast. McGavock, good young coach Robert Davis - ast. Cumberland Univ., WC legend, would unite community, school Scott Smith - his offense + their speed could = WINS Don Harris - current WC def. cord. , players choice David Carter - current WC ast., friend of principal Bubba Spears - could make the Cobras lethal again if given chance Dorris Armstrong - Think he's ready to go home? who are other possibilities? cobrafan90
interesting. i'd like to see rob d get it, since he is my old classmate. i don't want armstrong to get it..................... i'm sure they'll make a good choice. why not the freshman coach, Rashun Bell. i'd like him to get a chance too. Robert Davis would be a great choice. Rashun Bell is a good young coach. I wonder if he'll apply. Who will help the principal choose? Has he already made his choice? shotgunfivewide
Scott Smith was told not to apply...no chance of him getting a job in metro at this time.....
ELA
Scott Smith was told not to apply...no chance of him getting a job in metro at this time..... Why is it that Scott can't get a break in Metro? You'd think the ring and the great game in the 2001 BCBS would be worth a look?
cobrafan90
i think smith(from e-h) would be a great coach for the job. i don't know about the politics behind him not being encouraged to apply. well i 've spoken with rob d and he isn't interested in the job. he's taking a coaching job in atlanta with the arena football team there. i like spears from mcgavock too. Sportster
I believe Smith may have burnt some bridges from his time at Antioch! As far as Metro goes.
cobracoach
This school is a sleeping giant. Just waiting for someone to take it to the next level. What is happening to the ex coach?
McNine4MVP
What bridges did he burn. He's a darn good coach. I just think the Metro coaches may be scared of that spread attack.
