BigH_Outlaw
Congratulations to all Huntingdon class 2a State Champ players who were left off this list........once again the politics hit back home in the small town. I know of several of you who weren't on the list who could walk the dog with the first teamers.

I know of several of you who weren't on the list who could walk the dog with the first teamers. If I'm not mistaken, this list was created by the Associated Press and the football coaches had nothing to do with this one!

Indian
I would like to see Huntingdon play the first team offense and defense, after a couple of weeks of practicing together. I think the dog would be walked to a score of 100-0, at least.
WesVLT
Congrats to all who made it! Still, I HATE the honorable mention section because of its sheer hugeness. I can understand having a section to honor those who didn't quite make 1st- or 2nd-team, but does it have to list a hundred or so players? It waters down the "All-state" title a bit. If I were a player I'd probably feel differently, though. Congrats to all on the list!
Indian
If you look at it by Class or by section of the state it narrows things down. I only paid attention to the honorable mentions from around here.
krichunaka
Congratulationss to Byrd - first team - Christman and EHS' Brandon Blevins second team. Honorable Mention: Benfield and Lunsford Cloudland Harrison, Whaley, Davis, Dover Happy Valley Justin Waycaster and Adam Potter Hampton Guinn Unaka Bailey, Nave, Turley Elizabethton Way to go guys. Could've been more, but there are a lot of other counties that probably feel the same way. Hope I didn't leave anyone from Carter County/ Elizabethton out. Oh, and John, I saw Cody Parks on the Honorable Mention list.... Tell him congratulations.

But I've seen so many of these guys play; and truth is several of them would match up well with the first and second team players. But there are lots of them, huh? :justwrestle: Edited December 16, 2003 by krichunaka
WesVLT
There most definitely are...but your point is valid -- most of them would indeed match up well with the first and second tier players on the list...it's hard to narrow it down on a high school level, but looking at a massive hunk of names just seems a little silly. :justwrestle:
