purplepounderfootball
ryan wilkes of chatt. central is considered to be the best infeilder in the chattanooga area. has a great glove at ss and brings 95 mph to the mound. he also is a batting around .468. iv seen guys hit the ball to ss and will hardly jog to 1st cause they know he is there and he is gonna throw them out. Tom142
C'mon guys, we're all forgetting about Cale Iorg at Karns, probably one of the best infielders in the state and in the country, tough to beat. Also, Govman, I agree Hodges and Young are just about everything you'd want in a SS and in a leadoff hitter. Alcoa's Brad Coulter also fills that role well, as he is a solid leadoff hitter and has an outstanding glove at 2B.
gameday24
its hard to get anything around farragut's third baseman, and he also swings a pretty good stick

Cademon
I would have to say that Travis Bowers from Elizabethton is one of the best third basemen that ive seen.
hvwarrior58
chad lewis is one of the best ss's in east tennessee as well
NOLE
Lenoir City's Jubal Duncan is a pretty good shortstop with a gun, and he can crush the ball. He's very quick to the ball and has good hands. I agree, unfortunately to be considered as a prospect, he lacks a bit in size!
newhaircutLP
Brandon Turner(Walker Valley) has to be one of the top infielders in east tennessee. He has made a few more errors this year but he is still a very aggressive player.
OwlsBaseball
Travis Hall-- OOLTEWAH Hit a grand-slam out of the nine hole slot in the Sportsbelle Tournament against Knox West, and a .300+ hitter. Great fielder, nothing gets past him... knocks it down and can still make the play.
LuckyDay
Seen a lot of them the past few years, but without a doubt the best up the middle are: Joe Kuglar (SS) Brandon Turner (2B) HANDS DOWN (get it?)
ehs_uhs_07
Unaka has an awesome infield. Travis Pasquale on 1st or 3rd, Tee Blevins 1st or 3rd, Rusty Chambers on 2nd, and Chad Lewis is the best SS I've ever seen
JMo
I would take the entire farragut infield. None of those guys make any errors. They only times i've seen bobbles this year has been on hard hit balls. They also all have rockets for arms. Especially Tonny D who can only get better since he's just a sophmore.
