McGavock football

McGavock got a steal with the 2 new coaches from Lipscomb. They will bring a fresh outlook & perspective to a stale program. McGavock should feel lucky to have these guys. They will certainly be missed at Lipscomb. I wish nothing but the best to these guys & hope they do well at McGavock. I know Dorris is proud to have them.

Why does Metro continue to have interviews, when everyone knows tribue will name the coach, and no doubt has already told him. The best thing that could happen would be nobody apply and expose this joke of a process.

If McGavock does not hire a capable coach then they will get what they deserve ... more 1-9's and embarassments. Bubba Spears is in the building, has an impressive record with much experience, and could build a PROGRAM, not just a team, like he had at Stratford. But does he have a chance to get this job?

Everyone has done all this talk about who is going to be the new Head Coach, but what about where the old Head Coach, Doris Armstrong, is going. I here where he is going he should have been there as Head Coach years ago.

OK if not Tribue, then Alzado and YoDude, I got some candidates for you besides Broome and Spears, how 'bout:

 

Ron Aydelott - perfect time to leave and rebuild again, like he did at Hillsboro

Buddy Brown - left Antioch on top, would bring stability and discipline

Jerry Link - if he could escape from Hillwood

Wes Elrod - like Shadow said, think Gamble and Nollner. He would actually win!

James Armstrong - fix what little brother messed up

Maurice Fitzgerald - could Tribue get him to leave the Firebirds?

Richard Coure - ex-McGavock assistant, was successful at Whites Creek
