I believe when Grundy beats Alcoa & Milan wins thier first game, the matchup between Grundy & Milan in the second round will determine the state champion.

Whichever of these two teams stays in the winners bracket will win the state.

Lipscomb is going to be tough to beat. They always play great during tourney time and I wouldn't count them out.

Once again nobody is giving Alcoa a chance in the world to win. Even when you have them down they dont give up. Take the Unicoi County game. Alcoa was down 6-0 in the 6th inning and came back to win 11-7.

Good Luck to the Indians from Montgomery Central High in Cunningham, Tn. Coach Dunn and his staff have definitely paid their dues to get to this point. The Indians are playing good defense, getting timely hitting from different players when the hits are needed and, their pitching is helping the defense keep games close.

Alcoa has paid their dues to get where they are. They dont even have a field to practice on but they are sitting with some of the best teams in TN in Memphis right now. They are playing great ball and giving everything they got for Dunn.
