Marion County vs. South Pittsburg .....WITHOUT question!  The only way to describe this rivalry is the Hatfields vs. the McCoys....on STEROIDS!  To quote the article below, the last time this game was canceled was due to fear of violence at the game.  Last years game not only made national headlines, it was int he news in England as well.  When it comes to rivalries.... there is no equal!!!

The states oldest continuous meeting. I'm sure there are a lot of other heated rivalries but I can't imagine any being more intense. If you are going to harass a player as he is taken out of the stadium in an ambulance that's pretty dang heated.

I understand what you men about me not knowing about the rivalry, but that's no excuse in my book for someone to act that way over a mere ballgame. Their are a lot more serious things in our lives than a ballgame. Sometimes you just have to put things in life in perspective. If someone is putting that much emphasis on a football game then their priorities in life are WAY out of whack. I dislike football teams in HS and pro and college, but I cant for the life of me ever envision myself (no matter how big the rivalry is) to taunt a fellow human whether I like them or dislike them when they're seriously hurt and anybody that does under any circumstance has major league issues. That's my point.
