Antwan can probably get a little closer than I can cause he is filled with inside information. But it might look as follows :

Smith Co.

York

Upperman

Jackson Co.

Cannon Co.

Westmoreland

East Robertson

I think there's also a possibilty that the privates be grouped in their some way.:

Goodpasture

FRA

Ezell

CPA

DCA

I have read it may depend on where the division lines are established as far as east/west or north/south.

Twan, do you have an educated or just a best guess ? I would like to know your take.

rubberband & tigerpride08.....one thing....Tiggas ya'll crazy.

Don't take us Smith Co. fans seriously.....except for Twan.....he types much knowledge. We just like talking up our Dag Gum overachieving team. They're not strong, fast, smart or disciplined. To be honest.....they're pitiful. Take it easy on us Friday Night. Go Easy on the pumpknots too....those could hurt. Those pollsters have no idea of what they're doing putting us up close to the top teams in 3A. Come on....we beat baxter 6-0....SC can't be that good. Maybe next year the Owls could start strong at 1-3.....then us SC fans could really get on coacht and make some noise....because that's all it is.....NOISE....I hope these OWLS can keep it close at least until halftime....then we can see the band and go home before it gets bad in the second half!!! Good Luck OWLS!!! Pray hard!!!

That's what I think our region will be also. It just makes sense to be that way. I don't think any of the privates will be sent this way. It is not out the realm of possibility though. I would think all of the privates will be in the same region for travel purposes.

They should be in their own region! I don't think it is right for them not to be for several reasons. I still have a bad taste of my mouth from them private schools in the 1996 season.

You have made a lot of since in your posts that I have been reading.  And you seem to know an awful lot about everything, like the school enrollment numbers and the outlook on all the classes and regions.  Is this public information that you are getting this stuff or are you in a position where you are capable of finding out these things, and do I know you.  Hey SC7, do i know this person?

I do have one question, and I could probably find out from a better source, but what is the region smith county will be in probably going to look like?  I know that have not decided for sure, but there must be some speculation.

Nah...I don't know much about anything (don't you say it fan). Most of the information I have quoted about enrollment is on the tssaa site. As far as the outlook on regions...it is pure speculation on my part...with a little deductive reasoning. Who knows what the tssaa will do? They have been pretty unpredictable with regional alignment in the past.

The Twan knows all (or thinks he does anyway :D ) And being a member of the Mafia, he does have ways of finding things out....... B) ....... B) ......... B)

    • Hmmmmmm doe dee doe doe……sounds like they are leaving Geenback faster than the lawnmower will go in fifth gear.  Hmmmm….. you can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • West looked solid...excited to see this young group excel
    • When you have a school that right at 200 kids only half are going to be male and to get 25% of them to come out for football is a very hard task. Take away an 8th grade syatem and your you have another hill to climb up. If 5 kids are actually leaving your not going to have enough for practice. Your only chances for wins would be against the weakest of weak teams. At one time Greenback had kids coming across the wall like the Mexican Border and now their leaving town before sundown. A hugh mistake was made on not hiring Ryan back because of his ties to the community and his ability to bring in the right kids, not run them off. The last coach failed because he wasn't one of community so they go out and do it again. I'm sure Coach Clemmer is a good person because I do know people that do like him but he is caught in the middle of a fan base that will not support him no matter what and it could lead to a disaster if that many kids are leaving the program. The person that caused all of this mess has no business on the school board and needs to stick with hiding in the bushes giving out speeding tickets to out of towners coming through.
    • My outsider looking in perspective is Oliver Springs, Coalfield, Rockwood, and Harriman: fill out the top 4 good teams that beat up on the bottom and will all be in a good place to win in the 1st round with one team maybe making it farther. Midway: funnily enough in the middle an alright team that can beat the teams below them but not the top 4 misses the playoffs but still has a decent record. Oakdale, Greenback, Sunbright: round out the bottom each team has its problems and with a rough region and challenging non-conference records may not be pretty. Oakdale graduated lots of talent and experience, Greenback is in all sorts of internal turmoil with their new coach, and Sunbright small roster tough region not tons of Fb played. (Teams could be rearranged with other teams in their groups but this is how I see them finishing)
    • Kids quitting to focus on one sport could be a worry but multi-sport athletes transferring out would damage more than just football so I think the people who made this decision could find out they are going to get burned in multiple ways.
